Terms of Service
Last updated August 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Maximum Lite. Plain language, no tricks: if anything here is unclear, contact us and we'll explain it.
1. What Maximum Lite does
Maximum Lite lets you create a simple sign-up page for a class, camp, clinic, session, workshop or event, share one link, collect the answers you need, and take card payment. We provide the software. We do not run your program, deliver it, or supervise it.
2. Your account
You need an account to publish a page. Keep your sign-in details private, use a real email address, and make sure everything you tell us is accurate. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 18, or have an adult responsible for the account.
3. Your pages and your customers
You own your pages and your sign-up data. You decide the price, the capacity, the questions you ask, and what you promise. You are the merchant of record for what you sell: you're responsible for delivering it, for the accuracy of your page, for honouring your own cancellation or refund promises, and for following the laws that apply to your activity (including any licensing, insurance, tax, or minor-protection rules).
You must only collect information you genuinely need, and you must handle it responsibly. Do not use Maximum Lite to collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, health records, or other sensitive data through your custom questions — payment details are handled by Stripe, never by your form.
4. Payments, fees and payouts
Card payments are processed by Stripe. To take payment you connect a Stripe account through us and accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Money from your sign-ups is paid out to the bank account you give Stripe, on Stripe's payout schedule — typically a couple of business days after a payment clears.
Our fee is taken from each paid sign-up: 5% + $0.40 on Free, and 4% + $0.40 on Lite ($49/month). Stripe's card processing fees are separate and charged by Stripe. See pricing for current numbers; we'll tell you before we change them.
Once a page has taken its first payment its price is locked so nobody who already paid sees a different amount than they were charged. You can duplicate the page to charge a different amount.
5. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes
Refunds are yours to decide and yours to fund. You can refund a sign-up from your dashboard: your customer receives the full amount they paid, the transferred amount is reversed out of your balance, and the spot reopens. Our fee on that sign-up is not returned, because the processing it paid for already happened. If a customer disputes a charge with their bank, the dispute is between you and that customer — you are responsible for the disputed amount and any dispute fee Stripe charges. If your balance can't cover a refund or dispute, you agree to cover the difference.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Maximum Lite to:
- sell anything illegal, or anything Stripe's restricted business list prohibits;
- take money for something you don't intend to deliver;
- collect payments on someone else's behalf without their permission;
- publish content that is hateful, harassing, deceptive, or infringes someone's rights;
- test our system with real cards you don't own, scrape it, or try to break it.
We may pause or remove a page, or suspend an account, when we believe these rules are being broken or when Stripe requires it. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why.
7. Content and ownership
You keep ownership of everything you upload — text, logos, images — and you give us permission to host and display it so your pages work. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload. We keep ownership of Maximum Lite itself: the software, the brand, and the design.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep Maximum Lite up, but we don't promise it will never be down. We may change or improve features over time. If we ever plan to remove something you rely on, we'll give you reasonable notice by email.
9. Liability
Maximum Lite is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or indirect or consequential damage, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, or $100. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
You agree to cover us for claims that come from your pages, your customers, what you sell, or your breach of these terms.
10. Ending things
You can stop using Maximum Lite at any time and delete your pages. We can end this agreement if you break these terms. When an account closes, any payments already taken still pay out through Stripe, and you remain responsible for delivering what people paid for.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, email you. Continuing to use Maximum Lite after a change means you accept it.
